My journey into Education started back in 1991.  Acknowledging that a career working with children was where I wanted to be was confirmed at my interview to join the PGCE program at Leicester University. The task:

"You have 20 minutes to plan 8 subjects for a Yr. 2 class. The starfish will be your focus!" A chance to use my creativity to inspire children to become the best they can possibly be.

Roles included class teacher, advanced skills teacher of performing arts, lead mentor for post graduate students & active member of Senior Leadership Team.

 

After 25yrs I took a leap of faith, resigned from my post & embarked upon a life changing trip to Fiji, where I enrolled onto a volunteer teaching program. On my return, I was ready to take on a new challenge, to empower & support practitioners to develop the most positive mindset & become a champion for the children in their care. 

After re-locating to London I secured the post of, Head of CPD at an Educational recruitment agency.For the last 6 years I've had the privilege of training, supporting & connecting with teachers & support staff, both UK based & overseas, up-skilling & building confidence to progress on their own learning paths.
